Acrobatics Uniform

Acro clothing must remain fitted to the body so teachers can safely support dancers and clearly see body position during skills.

ORDER MALE UNIFORM → You will be sent information separately to purchase certain uniform for class. (top & bottoms)

No Loose Clothing - Loose, oversized or baggy clothing is not permitted during Acro.

This includes oversized T-shirts, loose joggers and other garments which could:

Move over the dancer's face while inverted

Restrict the teacher's view of body alignment

Become caught during tumbling

Interfere with spotting or supporting

Create unnecessary hazards during partner work

Hair – Hair must be worn in a secure bun to prevent it becoming caught or interfering with the dancer during skills.

Acro Footwear - BARE FEET ONLY - Verrucas must be covered

Acro is performed barefoot. Socks are not permitted.

Bare feet provide dancers with the grip and floor connection required for:

Tumbling

Balance

Take-off

Landing

Partner work

Stunting

Socks significantly reduce traction and increase the risk of slipping.

Dancers should therefore remove socks before commencing an Acro class.
