Why We Have a Uniform Policy
A consistent uniform allows teachers to clearly see body alignment, ensuring safe technique, effective corrections, and reducing the risk of accidents or injury. It also promotes professionalism, discipline, and unity within the class. Wearing the correct uniform helps dancers move safely, confidently, and as part of a supportive community.
Arrival / Warm-Up / Cool Down Attire - over training wear -
BDPA-branded studio t-shirt, sports crop top only (past BDPA show t-shirts are acceptable) (Compulsory)
BDPA-branded zip-up jacket or hoodie only (compulsory)
BDPA- Branded black leggings, dance shorts or Plain black fitted leggings (may be worn throughout the class), optional. You may purchase a cost-affordable alternative, but it must be plain black and suitable for the class
BDPA - Branded or Plain black cuff-bottom joggers, optional You may purchase a cost-affordable alternative, but it must be plain black and suitable for the class. Black baggy Joggers are only accepted in street/commercial.
Hoodies/Jackets, t-shirts, and Joggers must be removed when the teacher requests.
Any items worn to class that are not part of the class uniform must be removed when the teacher requests it.
