Contemporary Uniform

Girls:

• Top: Black leotard (not low cut and no crop tops).
• Tights: Footless nude tights.
• Bottoms: Shorts are not permitted.
• Footwear: Barefoot, contemporary foot undies, or contemporary dance socks (everyday essential wear socks, trampoline socks, and jazz shoes are not permitted).
• Hair shoulder length and below: Low bun.
• Hair shorter than shoulder length and neckline: Half up, half down, or plaits/braids.
• Warm-up Wear: Must be removed at the request of the teacher.
• Safety Wear: Gel knee pads.

Boys:

• Bottoms: Plain black loose PE style shorts or footless black male dance tights.
• Top: BDPA branded black fitted T-shirt or vest top long enough to tuck in.
• Footwear: Barefoot, contemporary foot undies, or contemporary dance socks (everyday essential wear socks, trampoline socks, and jazz/dance shoes are not permitted).
  
• Hair shoulder length and below: Low bun.
• Hair shorter than shoulder length and neckline: Half up, half down, or plaits/braids.
• Warm-up Wear: Must be removed at the request of the teacher.
• Safety wear: Athletic jockstrap required from the start of puberty and up, and gel knee pads.
